Inbox Triage
Sorts mail so you see what matters
The job
Reads new messages (email and similar inboxes you connect) and sorts them into three buckets: Needs you, Can be drafted for you, and Safe to ignore for now. It prepares drafts; you send.
What it owns
- Labeling or tagging incoming mail into Needs me / Draftable / Ignore
- Short notes on why something landed in each bucket
- Draft replies for routine messages (meetings, thanks, scheduling)
- A daily or twice-daily summary, not ping on every message
What it never does
- Sending mail as you without your explicit send
- Unsubscribing you from lists or deleting mail
- Sharing message contents outside your tools
- Arguing with senders or making commitments for you
Approval rules
- First time it connects to an inbox
- Any message it labels “Needs me” that it also drafted (you still choose send)
- Changing sorting rules that might hide important mail
